almost died

its been hell of a night
i’ve been struggling to survive
this pain slowly keeps on killing me
that i almost died last night.

I should be happy by now
this day must be something special
but why is this happening?
That inspite of it all, i almost died last night.

I’ve become miserable
i forgot how to smile
i followed my mind but still
i almost died last night.

I learned how to lie
to pretend i was never hurt
to think all things are fine
but then again.......i almost died last night.
